When creating the collection, we sought to make modern heirlooms - dresses that will be treasured and handed down like the Horrockses originals, living up to the original tagline: 'This year, next year - and always.' Crafted from soft and breathable Organic Cotton with added stretch for comfort, Lilibet features an all-over conversational plated hors d'oeuvres print against a green background designed by an unknown artist for Horrockses in 1952. Lilibet boasts a ‘50s-style shirtwaister shape with a portrait neckline, functional buttons down the bust, short sleeves, and a full knee-length skirt that gathers at the waist with pockets at the hip.
